“Little Wren was the perfect country getaway. The cottage is just lovely and Niki was so friendly and has provided everything you need for your stay plus a few little surprises 😊 The cottage is totally private from the main residence and the large deck provides a great space to relax with endless bush views including the odd wallaby! Also worth noting the location was perfect- 10 min drive to Woodend, Hanging Rock and Mt Macedon which has plenty of walking options. I would highly recommend a stay at Little Wren!” - Mel, 03/23

“We really enjoyed our stay at Little Wren. Looked exactly like the pictures. Beautiful light-filled home. Every little detail in the home was perfect, the decor and interior made the home feel so cosy. The place was spotless and clean. Very comfortable bed with beautiful soft linen. A gorgeous fireplace made it feel very romantic. A lovely welcome basket of fresh bread, eggs and extras. We felt so comfortable and would have extended our stay for a few more days but unfortunately, because of the time of year, it was fully booked out. Niki was very accommodating and checked in to see if we needed any extra blankets etc. You can really tell that Niki has poured so much love into this place, right down to every detail. It has everything you need to feel like you’re at home. We would love to stay again at Little Wren and will be recommending it to all our friends.” - Mel 12/22
Relax and recharge
“Little Wren was exactly as described and gave my wife and I a super relaxing getaway. We loved being able to walk around the property’s bushlands and sit outside looking out to the paddocks. We made a BBQ outside and were able to enjoy a very quiet night’s rest. Check-in was easy, host was lovely, we had a beautiful breakfast basket provided to us with local produce and we were provided with lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do.” - Calum 03/23
“I loved staying at Little Wren. The cabin had everything I needed and more! It was spotlessly clean and there was a delicious welcome gift waiting for me on arrival, of Niki's delicious sourdough bread, eggs fresh from the coop and yummy jam. I chose Little Wren because I wanted to get away from inner city Melbourne where I live, and go where I could be surrounded by the sounds of nature, and have access to the bush and nearby walking trails. I saw wedge tail eagles, king parrots, kangaroos and more. I was even lucky enough to meet Niki's resident echidna! Inside the cabin, the bed was incredible and I loved sitting on the deck looking out at the view. It was the perfect retreat for me. Niki was a perfect host - attentive and responsive. I really appreciated her knowledge of the local area. Beautiful little cabin in a beautiful area of Victoria with a thoughtful, generous host. Thank you Niki!”- Nicci 02/23
